Fab fall fashion

by Lauren on October 20, 2011

Who doesn’t love a cozy fall sweater with adorable boots and gold accessories? This is by far my favorite fall trend. I created it on Polyvore and am currently drooling over it. What do you think?

Product frenzy

by Lauren on October 15, 2011

I love trying new products and have a lot to show for it. Its important to change up your beauty routine and the products you use every so often to keep your skin healthy. Also, its fun to try new brands and see what’s out there. Here are a few of my favs!

Staring from the upper left: Sonia Kasuck Tanning Towelettes, these create a mess free quick tan; Vitamin C Avalon Organics, this lotion brightens up my face with just a couple applications; Aussie Aussome Volume Hairspray, perfect for creating a pouf; Jemma Kidd Lipstick, it looks like a shimmery lipgloss; Shea Cashmere Hand Cream, this makes my hand silk smooth; Organix Morracoan, Argon Oil Shampoo, I love using this because it makes my split ends disappear; Chi Silk Infusion, this gives my hair a silky finish.

I created this graphic with the new Adobe software I recently purchased. All the software is a must have for any PR guru.

Fall Festivities

by Lauren on October 11, 2011

To welcome Fall and October, this post is dedicated to Fall desserts, crafts and activities. Of course some Halloween and pumpkin will be thrown in because they are two of my favorite things about Fall. Although we are still having some unusually warm weather, I am so ready for the air to get a bit chilly.

White chocolate pumpkin truffles.

I have a bit of an obsession with pumpkin this time of year and these truffles would be delish! They look fairly simple and would be a great Halloween party treat. Here is the recipe. This reminds me of another favorite fall treat, the pumpkin latte from Starbucks. I literally get so excited for when its the time of year for them.

Pumpkin Vase.

How adorable would this look as a centerpiece for a table. I got the idea from Lauren Conrad’s blog and decided its a must to make this fall.

Pumpkin Patches.

This is my all time favorite thing to do in October is take a trip to the pumpkin patch, which might entail hot apple cider, hayrides and corn mazes. What a perfect date idea and a great way to get your pumpkins for the pumpkin vases up above. Happy Fall!

I apologize for the sideways picture but couldn’t resist posting this cute fashion journal a friend gave me. I am going to use it to write down new fashion finds and ideas for blog posts.

Hot Streak Clutch.

Love this modern take on the camel clutch with a hot pink streak. This would be perfect for girls night out!

Thanks to one of Classy and Fab’s wonderful readers, Casey, today’s post is an adorable info graphic on the history of a cupcake. I didn’t realize how much there was to learn about how the cupcake came about. Take a look and see what new surprising facts you learn.

Thanks so much Case for sharing this. Best of luck with your endeavors at culinary school.

Style icon: Tory Burch

by Lauren on October 1, 2011

I am obsessed with the effortlessly chic Tory Burch and her equally amazing style. I came across her blog on an app for my iPad called, flipboard. You can see all her blog posts and people she interviews all in one news feed. This girl has killer confidence, plus she actually designs her own clothes!

Tory even throws extravagant diner parties where the invitations match her outfit. Brilliant!

Her new fall line is out but be careful if you look at it because you’ll want to buy everything.

Having a style icon helps you narrow your focus on what kind of fashion fits your personality. I always love looking at Tory Burch’s outfit creations and recreating them.
