the leaves have finally all turned, peppermint mochas have hit Starbucks and thanksgiving is right around the corner. did I tell you, I love fall? we gathered at my dads house for a fall dinner to all be together while my sister was home for the weekend from college. i am so thankful for family time, especially this time of year. this month, i am focusing on gratitude and all of things in life that i am so thankful for.

{outfit post} fall layers.

by Lauren on October 8, 2014

you may have seen my first post where i paired up with Francesca’s boutique to show you some stylish fall outfits. for this second outfit from Francesca’s i paired a aztec printed dress with a suede fur vest. i went without tights for this look but you could definitely add black printed pair of tights to this look for colder days. if you haven’t been into Francesca’s lately, you are missing out. i always pick up an item thinking it will be expensive and am pleasantly surprised when it’s usually under $50. i am looking forward to showing you one more outfit that i styled with Francesca’s beautiful fall collection.

a little glimpse of fall.

by Lauren on August 11, 2014

why is it that we are always so eager for the next season. whether it’s the clothes, holidays or traditions, I am always so excited for the next season to arrive and this time of year is no different. autumn is right around the corner and i already am dying to wear my boots. i decided that ankle boots are totally acceptable in August, especially when it’s a rainy dreary day. plus when you wear boots with white jeans it makes for a great transition piece. now all i need to go along with this look is a pumpkin spiced latte in hand, THE best!

as a new season arrives, it feel like it’s the perfect time to set my intentions for the next couple of months. intentions are similar to goals but i like to think of them as lifestyle changes. the decisions i make are ones that i want to have a purpose. even the simple decisions are important to infuse with intention. stay tuned for more on my intentions for the upcoming season.
